Our favorite platform is Meteor.

But we can do more. We picked some examples to show our versatility and to illustrate our skillset.

React, Javascript, Timeseries

Fit4Life Suite

Infrastructure for eHealth-data

The Fit4Life-Suite is the highway for data-streams of eHealth-data from mobile devices, with exits to AI-companies and ramps for analyses and input from experts.

We are developing the Fit4Life-Suite for Annovating, a company that facilitates smartwatch data management and offers consultancy services.

Meteor Multiple Tablets App

MeetAlert

An Anti-Meeting App implemented in Meteor on behalf of MMIT-Netherlands.
Meteor is our preferred framework for new projects. It is a free and open-source JavaScript web framework written using Node.js. Meteor allows for rapid prototyping and produces cross-platform (web, Android, iOS) code.

MeetAlert is a B2B application aiming at reducing the cost of meetings by raising the awareness of the participants to the running costs of a meeting real time.

It is best suitable for companies with a lot of meetings. MeetAlert will integrate with Outlook and can be centrally configured and monitored. It works with a setup of 3 tablets per location. One tablet for announcing at the outside of a location, one for monitoring the running costs for the participants at the inside and one dashboard-tablet for the chairman of the meeting.
Participants can check in and out of a meeting realtime. Next to properly determining the cost of a meeting based on the time participants actually spend in a meeting, this will in addition yield insights in the actual statistics and time-lines of meetings for a whole company.

Meteor Gaming App

Meteor Gaming

A board game exclusively playable on a computer - by design. Ongoing development in cooperation with the well-known German game designer Stefan Dorra.
Meteor is our preferred framework for new projects. It is a free and open-source JavaScript web framework written using Node.js. Meteor allows for rapid prototyping and produces cross-platform (web, Android, iOS) code.

This game is our tech-fun project. It has no proper name yet, still it is central for our experiments with all kinds of technological feats. Like distributing bots as services over several severs, providing a social gaming platform while integrating with other social media, implementing advanced push-messages that trigger actions on networked devices, fast reactivity required for a fluent game experience.

The game itself is a funny instance of a board game. Because any single move may trigger a multitude of actions on the board, this "board-game" is actually only playable on a computer.

The game is a lot of fun to play by now, either against human opponents or against bots of different skill-levels. Please ignore the visuals entirely; as we did 😉
We are only now thinking up a framing story and will polish the interface in due time.

We do not expect any direct revenues from this project, it is rewarding and useful in many other ways.

Unity game for IOS and Android

Bleepee

A Unity 3D game. Produced and owned by Manic Squad Production, programmed by Be-Water.
Unity is a cross-platform game engine to develop 2D and 3D video games for PC, consoles, mobile devices and websites. Currently it targets 21 platforms.

Any gaming-project like this is a complex untertaking. A programmer needs to dive into multiple paradigms of programming and has to work in close cooperation with audio- and visual-designers.

BleePee is only a recent example of such an undertaking, we actually host a lot of experience in developing games. Either as independent developers or when working for Lost Boys Games, developing PC-games or Sony-playstation games.

BleePee is a free space game with arcade-style elements and ‘back to the ’80s’ action, your mission is to help Bleepee jump from one planet to another and collect mystery boxes along the way. But time is ticking away! You only have 60 seconds to reach the last planet.

The faster you complete a level, the bigger your reward will be. Earn coins, buy power-ups, dress to impress, with cool customized outfits for Bleepee. Conquer each galaxy like a pro!

Responsive WordPress Site

Supplementinfo Info

A responsive WordPress site. Client was NPN, implemented by TurTur.
WordPress is the world’s most popular content management system. It is absolutely free and it is based on PHP and MySQL.

While this is certainly not our core business, we use WordPress as a CMS for clients if needed.

Being real developers we can let WordPress walk the extra-mile, write our own plugins or integrate it with other tools and platforms. If needed. Because WordPress has significantly more plug-ins, themes and other customizations available than any other CMS already.

Supplement Info is the customer website of NPN, the trade organisation for supplement producers and providers in the Netherlands (NPN). We designed and programmed the interface. Customers can easily link supplements and health through either the "Supplement Index" or the "Health Index". Of course this is a responsive site, looking good on mobile devices.
No dependencies: our clients should be in full control of their site and own all contracts with third parties. Choosing WordPress as CMS also ensures that our work can be understood and carried on by others.

Data acquisition, surveys, quizzes

Surveys powered by SurveyGizmo

Examples: Call for Outline proposals, 50+ FitTest, etc.
SurveyGizmo is the editor's choice for survey software of PC Magazine in 2016.

We provide surveys as Facebook Apps, mobile solutions or integrate them seamlessly into your website.
The backend will give you seamless control of your survey, running statistics, visual feedback etc. etc.

State your need and we will make it work.

The Call for Outline Proposals was an example of data acquistion with a big impact. This call focused on gathering innovative ideas in order to determine the appropriate scope of the project and to enrich future tenders.

Following the web-based call for outline proposals, Eindhoven received nearly 200 ideas and profiles of interested parties. By making the ideas accessible, Eindhoven facilitated a match-making process between submitters of the ideas (the so-called innovators) and parties that could make use these ideas in their proposals to be submitted in the tender phase (the so-called system integrators). The result can still be viewed at Full list of proposals

An example of a Facebook-app using a survey as an advisory test is 50+FitTest

Collaborative Wiki

Sustainable buildings

The smart way towards sustainable municipal buildings, a Website implemented in Dokuwiki.
This website has much more to it than meets the eye. It is based on DokuWiki, a simple to use and very versatile Open Source wiki software that doesn't require a database. It is loved by users for its clean and readable syntax. The ease of maintenance, backup and integration makes it an administrator's favorite. Built in access controls and authentication connectors make DokuWiki especially useful in the enterprise context and the large number of plugins contributed by its vibrant community allow for a broad range of use cases beyond a traditional wiki.

DokuWiki is highly versatile; we used it for internal cooperation and external documentation. It even provided a social platform for companies facilitating innovative parties in communicating with each other and organizing a matchmaking event when forming consortia.

The whole project has been a very innovative trajectory and was part of a European project ‘Smart Procurement European Alliance’ (SPEA), together with partner cities Eindhoven, Birmingham and Barcelona. In the SPEA project the three cities work together on the challenge to accelerate the adoption of innovative sustainable technologies through smarter procurement.

Eindhoven took the lead in this project. Aiming to be an energy-neutral city by 2045 it organized a tender for making the municipality's own buildings more energy-efficient. Eindhoven has received nearly 200 ideas and profiles from interested parties. The documentation of the whole - very interesting - process can be viewed at Sustainable buildings

MissMatch

SQL-Server matching suite
MissMatch is a self documenting extendible matching suite for SQL-Server that integrated into the data-flow of MMIT. It has been implemented in T-SQL and C#.

It is multi-lingual in a non-trivial sense, being able to index and match on language specific phonetic rules and local aberrations in NAW-data.
MissMatch can and has been adapted to market domain specific attributes so matches will reflect the goals of a campaign. It has successfully been applied routinely to databases harbouring hundreds of millions of records.

MMIT, our client, is a company founded with customer data analysis as its main focus that turned to the implementation and management of databases for CRM. Over the past few years lead management and enabling lead management have become their primary business and they help their customers capture, polish and distribute leads from around the world in a matter of minutes.

A little boasting

Once upon a time

  • Eric is even 10 years later still on the list of top-contributors for PyPy.
PyPy is a very compliant Python interpreter, almost a drop-in replacement for CPython 2.7. It’s fast (pypy and cpython 2.7.x performance comparison) due to its integrated tracing JIT compiler.

  • Harald won the first prize of the HiGrids Mobile App Challenge at iCE Amsterdam 2011, the hands-on, most powerfull event on Mobile strategies, platform and app development!
